Who is Alex?
Hi, I’m Alex – the writer, photographer, and content creator behind Alex Goes Global. I have been lucky to travel to 47 countries!
My love for travel started when I emancipated from foster care and took my first international trip to an orphanage in Mexico to build homes. From that day on, I wanted to see more parts of the world and leave it better than I found it.
I fell in love with new cultures, history, food, and most importantly, the people.
As a full-time blogger, I run my blog while also doing freelance writing, marketing, and photography on the side.
While a majority of my content is about fashion, photography, food, and travel, I also discuss some pretty personal topics here, such as growing up in foster care, embracing my gray hair, and sharing my keloid scar treatment journey.
