If you ever have a chance to shop at FARM Rio stores in Brazil, DO IT.
I was able to find so many deals and learn so much about FARM Rio and why they’re an awesome company.
Here is what you should know when you enter a Farm Rio store in Brazil.
#1 The Selection is Different from the US
The designs in Brazil are made for much warmer weather. The fabric is thinner and more breathable.
In the US, styles are often made in China and are characterized by more elaborate designs with intricate trims and luxurious fabrics. Many US designs are also layered. All the extra features add to the cost of the product.
Our favorite places to buy Farm Rio in the states include:
- Anthropologie – They often have an additional 50% off sale items. Ive been able to shop at FARM Rio for as low as $20!
- Nordstrom
- Saks Fifth Avenue
#2 The Prices are Much Lower
Items in Brazil will start at $50 and go up to $250 USD. In the US, an average Farm Rio dress is $250 and can go up to $1,000!
Brazil has so many more affordable options!
#3 Sizing is Different
In the US, FARM Rio’s sizing ranges from XS to XL. Sizing seems to run smaller in the US and Internationally.
In Brazil, sizing is PP, P, M, G, GG. Sizing seems to be more true to size in Brazil.
#4 Each Store is a Hidden Gem!
Each store has its own inventory. There are multiple smaller stores and an accessory store called FARM Etc.
We also went to the flagship one and loved it!
#5 The Flagship Store is located in Lagoa and is a MUST VISIT!
I loved my visit to the Lagoa Flagship store. Their three-story store has a cafe on the first, three floors for shopping, and a rooftop with amazing lake views for lounging.
